Our appointment scheduler, Clockwise, offers telehealth visits and we have been using telehealth for work clearances and URI visits.    We require a COVID test before a URI visit, which is done in our screening clinic with 4-12 hour turnaround.    If negative, the APRN will see in person.  The team member can also opt for a telehealth visit with the APRN if they want to be seen before the COVID test.

We are still seeing Work related injuries in person.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Telemedicine for Occupational Medicine?

WARNING: This email came from an external source outside of Tampa General Hospital.

Good afternoon everyone,

During these unprecedented times, many of us are thinking about how we can deliver Occupational Medicine services, including injury care, virtually - i.e., via Telehealth.

I am wondering if any of you are already providing services via telephone and/or video, and would be willing to share your experiences with our exploratory team?

Any advice, based on your experience, would be most appreciated. Perhaps a telephone call with you?

Thank you,

Craig
