Our Chief of Infectious Disease recommended stopping their usage of CAPRs on a Nursing Home floor for this very reason – we had a small out break of COVID and our visitor policy is pretty strict.  This area has returned to full N95 usage with face shield.   Would like to know if anyone else implemented this practice?  JW

Is anyone having staff wear a face mask under a CAPR?  The issue is air blown out is not filtered so the patient may not be protected?
