We have been using the WHO list of approved vaccines for those employees who have presented with vaccinations given outside of the country. https://covid19.trackvaccines.org/agency/who/

If it is on the list of approved vaccines per the documentation provided by the employee, we will accept the doses as valid.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Accepting COVID vaccinations not FDA approved for international workers?

Happy new year All,

Does anyone have experience and an approach to whether you accept COVID vaccine series for international workers coming into the US who have received non-FDA approved vaccine brands?

Thank you,
Craig D. Thorne, M.D.
