We use Agility – cloud based but have not yet succeeded in getting the manager and employee portal up to where our IS department is happy with the security.  We have an interface from Agility to our HR /payroll systems, our state immunization registry, and QYK scanners.

Lots of good things about Agility and LOTS of things that could be better.

External:

We use Agility EMR system and our TMH/EH clinic sees acute care and occupational health.  We use EPIC for PCR testing and have an interface to our state registry for COVId-19 vaccines which also auto populates to EPIC so persons can get their QR codes from myChart  for testing/vaccines when they travel.   All our immunizations are interfaced from Agility to our state vaccine registry and downloaded to EPIC.

We also use a separate scheduler called Clockwise since Agility does not have a self-scheduling system that is user friendly.  Clockwise has a self check in kiosk and a whiteboard so we can track where a patient is and also sends text reminders for appointments.   Would also like to see Agility develop  a more robust employee portal and become cloud based.

WARNING: This email came from an external source outside of Tampa General Hospital.

At my clinic, we have a walk in urgent care that employees present to if there is an injury. For them, they utilize EPIC as well as the normal work comp paperwork.

I totally understand the employee health issues.

EPIC on the other hand; Occupational Medicine especially Workers comp visits, Do you keep this on paper or do you use your EMR ie, Epic or do you keep that separate?

Such a great comment, about the HIPAA / OCR issue.  Has anyone been fined by HHS for the HIPAA violation?  Does HHS know about this issue?

We use EPIC – got it in 2017, They tried to tell someone it would work for break the glass for employee health, but at that time we all knew better, so had to go with an outside EH software. We also had issues with it with the Lawson HR software, and have since had to change that as well..

For EH software my favorite two were Meditrax and Agility

Our Experience with EPIC, training and support is very lackluster, so if they tell you they will help and train you with the application please take it with a grain of salt. I know some have found a way to use it, but remember the HIPAA piece for people to not be able to see in Employees charts…

When I was looking for a new system for a nationally based system, the Enterprise Health seemed to have the most appropriate options and the most intuitive structure ( based on SOAP notes), and the fewest data entry redundancies.
