Hi Pam,

We accept home tests that are positive for symptomatic healthcare workers.  However, if the home test is negative and the HCW is symptomatic, we require they report to our clinic for as PCR test (COVID, FlU A/B, RSV).   We have a dedicated email for COVID-19 and the HCW has to send us a picture of the antigen test along with required demographics so our intake nurses can determine RTW date and also arrange Paxlovid with our nurse practitiooners, as needed.

 

We allow RTW day 6 if the 5 day antigen test is negative and the HCW is asymptomatic or has only mild symptoms that are improving.  We just started allowing home antigen testing for early RTW instead of making them come to our clinic for the 5 day post infection test.   HCWs send picture to our COVID email and our nurses will clear to RTW.
