Have you been involved with the configuration, staffing, and scheduling of telemetry monitoring stations in your healthcare facilities?

We had an RCA associated with some issues in our central telemetry room…. none of which resulted in bad outcomes.  I asked about fatigue, scheduled breaks, how many patients/screens being followed.  The scheduled break issue had not been previously addressed.  I told the participants in the RCA presentation that  I would poll the list.

I wonder if what has been developed for powerplants, air traffic control could be generalizable to the tele monitors.
