Before I stopped doing Employee Health I wanted to put all our scanned paper copies in files in archives, but our Administration was very adamant that the new technology of scanning items meant that we should shred and not keep documents after they have been uploaded (sometimes so poorly that they are not readable, I may add) and that they should be discarded.

Is that what many of you are doing? I seemed to have no power in my experiences with computer outtages and wiping out of data sources in the past, and if you are keeping the originals I would want to forward this information to the new Employee Health person

Thank you all for the great discussion about EOHS EHR.

For those that have converted, what have you done with your paper charts?

Thanks
