What are other adult or children's hospitals policy or accommodation protocols for pre-hires in the following situation?

*        working in the Medical Center

*        Patient facing

*        Cannot or Will Not take CDC appropriate vaccinations for MMR and/or Varicella when titers are NEGATIVE.  

(Looking for religious/medical exemption from obtaining these vaccinations).

 

·        Are they allowed to work with patients?

·        Would you provide an accommodation or not hire the pre-hire?

·        Have you been served with a lawsuit over this specific issue and how did your hospital address this (briefly)?

·        IF you would provide accommodation: What accommodations would you require the new employee to follow to protect the patients from these highly communicable diseases?
