We do not provide allergy shots in our occupational health department. We do have workplace clinics staffed by APP’s that are available for our employees to
use for this and other minor conditions. Services are free of charge for all employees and are available on campus at our hospitals. Those in clinics would need to leave to come to the hospital campus if they wanted to receive this, so it might not be a
huge benefit for them

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Allergy shots to staff
I am curious if any of our fellow Employee Health Service providers give allergy shots as a courtesy. Example, Allergist has seen the employee/Patient and has recommended immunotherapy.
The employee wants to stay on main campus and not leave to go get an allergy shot in the allergist office, so request that Employee Health give it as a courtesy. If so, what requirements do you have:
? Protocol for EH to follow
Stat box (epi/Benadryl, etc)
Or do you not provide this service?
Thanks for any feedback.
