Due to reporting requirements in California, we have never stopped following. We follow CDC for RTW - so if they test negative on a home test on day 5 we do a zoom observed antigen test. If negative, can RTW on day 6, but must wear an N95 until day 11 & not eat or drink (ie, take off mask) around others until day 11.  We interview all positives & send email information to them regarding home isolation and RTW. We notify managers on projected RTW dates & f/u if the employee RTW before or after day 11.

USE CAUTION - EXTERNAL EMAIL

Good Afternoon,

Looking to see if anyone is still tightly monitoring Covid sick calls or treating like a regular sick call out now? We still have a whole Covid Response Team and mailbox and submission site. We require all positives to report via RedCap and then are called by an RN for RTW guidance and follow up testing. If retest on day 5 is negative, can return on day 7 but if still positive must remain out of work for 10 days. Are any of you still doing this?

Thanks in advance for your response.
