Yes, we do and we prohibit marijuana in any form, unless there is a specific state law that does not allow us to make pre-placement decisions based on marijuana use.

Dartmouth Health is taking a careful look at our pre-employment drug testing policy to determine if adjustments are needed. I would truly appreciate responses from my MCOH peers to the following two short questions on your organization’s pre-employment drug testing program. Responses will help guide our thinking as we review our own program.

 

  1. Does your organization perform pre-employment drug testing?
  2. If yes, does your organization test for marijuana as part of the testing panel?
