We had a similar program at UCLA but a 60 day limit.  Also prior as a CMD, we charged back the department of origin for the wages which worked well to encourage the department of origin to find work within the restrictions. Warner

Hi Patricia,

We have a transitional duty cost center that can be utilized for injured employees who are not able to work full duty. The employee can work  under that cost center in their own department if needed or another department where work is available that meets their restrictions.  They can only work in this cost center for 90 days.
