[MCOH-EH] Pre-Placement Physicals

When I came here in 2014, I revamped the medical and occupational history forms that are completed by job candidates, and reviewed by our nurses.  They are not APPs.  They flag issues of concern for me to review.  Sometimes I will see the candidates personally, and sometimes I do a telehealth visit.  Vitals, visual acuity, respiratory protection program are all run by the nurses, with me as backup.

Have pretty much gotten away from the full blown exam like we did "back in the day."

We do not have anyone here who is a 'mid level'.
We do have professional registered nurses who are responsible for pre-employment screening and a seasoned OH APRN for any complex or unusual situations.

All pre-placements exams including and history and physical are performed by a physician or mid-level (NP, PA).
