[CASL-L] FW: Interesting Question

Joanna - I'd appreciate a civil tone among professionals, please. Yes, seriously, this is a conversation point. And , seriously, I just threw away a book on this high school library's shelves that, if a student read, they would believe South Africa is currently operating under a system known as Apartheid. Is that censoring student access to information or weeding due to changes in the accuracy of information? Civilized adults can agree to disagree on things.

Sincerely,
Kristie

Seriously? Is someone suggesting censoring student access to information?
If we considered removing information on people who have "done wrong"
whether or not convicted, punished, etc., we would have to go back to
Roman times and clean house. Why not consider it a teaching moment for
debate and use a full array of resources.
