Advance Registration Rates End Today!
AASL's 2012 Fall Forum, Transliteracy and the School Library Program, will be 
held October 12 - 13, 2012, in Greenville, SC, and simulcast to four satellite 
sites across the US.* Don't miss out on the chance to explore in-depth the 
school librarian's place in transliteracy! Advance registration rates end today. 
Register now!

Transliteracy and the School Library Program is designed to help school 
librarians develop strategies to effectively integrate transmedia skills into 
the curriculum creating opportunities for students and teachers to engage in the 
participatory online environment.

Leading the discussion and presenting the keynote address is renowned author and 
media studies scholar, Henry Jenkins.  Kristin Fontichiaro and R. David Lankes 
will join Henry Jenkins in providing a comprehensive overview of transliteracy 
and its importance in education.

When you register, be sure to book your hotel! The deadline for a reduced rate 
is Setempber 14.
