[CASL-L] Evaluation

My school is also participating in the pilot this year - we only have 1 school in the district and I'm the only LMS - would love ANY input anyone can provide - feeling a bit lost.

Haven't read the book yet, but I know that our CASL vice president, Mary Ellen Minichiello, is working with the state on specifics for our profession.  I have cc'd her so that she can also respond.  It should work well with AASL national standards since they align with the Common Core.  See the Common Core Crosswalk<http://www.ala.org/aasl/guidelinesandstandards/commoncorecrosswalk> which explains the alignment in detail.

Any idea if it also ties in with Connecticut's forthcoming teacher evaluation rubrics (for which, if I understand correctly, they're still working on the teacher librarian piece)?  My district is a pilot for the new evaluation procedure.
