[CASL-L] Filtered sites on the web in HS

For any type of IT request, we use a website where we can put in a request including unblocking sites. On occasion I have called over to IT (its in another building) in an emergency when a teacher needed a site "right now". Some sites don't get unblocked because of other controlling issues. When the Health class studies drugs, they request temporary unblocking during the research project.

Subject: [CASL-L] Filtered sites on the web in HS

Good Morning all -

I have a quick Q for those who work in HS ; when an internet site that teachers need for instruction has been blocked by filters, what is the procedure that IT/School/District follows to allow teachers to request a site be "unblocked"? Thanks for any info!

Sincerely,

Kristie
