Librarians are leaders and we lead teachers and students towards great projects. I created this project and have collaborated with a middle school teacher even though I am the k-2 librarian. We have a great CCSS lesson to accompany this project. WE WANT your students to join our efforts. This is a perfect project to revitalize students during these final weeks of schools. You could work with a classroom teacher or a grade level as I did. Or minimally, create a club. The students really, really engaged in this study of powerful words. And they submitetd some outstanding images.
Please view the imovie created by our 8th graders who are heading this project.
