[CASL-L] Use of TRAILS query

Hi,
We do use TRAILS in Brookfield. Every freshman takes the 9th grade TRAILS
assessment in their science class in September. I create and manage the
session, and distribute access codes to teachers. When the assessment is
completed we can measure our student's weakest areas as a group
individually by student, by class, etc. (those areas are usually
"developing a topic" and "evaluating information")

I wrote one of my SLO's around an identified area of weakness. Because the
science classes also require research skills, they use this information to
identify which areas of the research process they will need to structure
more heavily for their projects.

Students post-test with the 9th grade TRAILS at the end of the year and we
can measure growth with those numbers.
