- The 2nd issue of Literacy Special Interest, our journal, is available now FREE online @ http://literacyspecialinterest.blogspot.com/2014/05/literacy-special-interest-journal.html
This one is bursting at the seams with valuable content about Literacy best practices and resources.

- Our Birds of a Feather annual meeting
In addition to planning for the upcoming year’s activities, there will be a number of special presentations made at the beginning of the session. Chief among these will be a presentation and demonstration of UDIO, an exciting, soon to be released resource from CAST (Center for Applied Special Technologies).CAST is the source of UDL (Universal Design for Learning) an important and transformative approach and body of resources for improving learning for all students. UDIO is the next resource they will be releasing, one that promises to positively impact Teaching and Learning in the area of Literacy greatly.
Also, our group has been invited to curate and submit an annotated review of edtech digest’s Cool Tools (digital resources for teachers) – the review will be published in edtech digest during the coming school year. This will be an important opportunity for our Network to impact teaching and learning in the area of Literacy.
Please join us for this important session!
