[CASL-L] Free PD this Summer EdcampRSD6

Yes, thanks so much to CASL board, CLC, keynote speakers, Scholastic, and all vendors who put on today's phenomenal program. 

Just to plug RSD 6's edcamp, if you need a little push to give up some vacation time, I can tell you that you'll be glad you did! That's where I first met people like Jane Martellino and have reconnected with many colleagues from the past. Abbe and the rest of the A-Team in Region 6 organize a stellar program every week. You never know what you'll walk away with. I've learned  tons of tech tools/tips/programs through the years, but I was also reminded last year about the importance of paying attention to nonverbal communication when working with students (Paul Bogush, sorry if sp off). So the offerings are diverse, totally useful with students, and, yes, lunch is always fantastic too! If you'd like a casual atmosphere to present with/for peers, there's that perk too.
