Keynotes Focus on Curriculum and Digital Media

AASL has lined up two exciting educational speakers for the Opening and Closing Keynotes. For the Opening Keynote, Heidi Hayes Jacobs, Executive Director of the Curriculum Mapping Institute and President of Curriculum Designers, will explore curriculum and instruction. Jacobs is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of curriculum and instruction and has consulted with a range of organizations nationally and internationally on issues and practices pertaining to curriculum mapping, dynamic instruction, and 21st-century strategic planning.

Eszter Hargittai will focus on digital media for the Closing Keynote. Hargittai's research focuses on the social and policy implications of digital media with a particular interest in how differences in people's Web-use skills influence what they do online. Her projects have looked at the evolution of search engines and the organization and presentation of online content, and how IT are influencing the types of cultural products people consume.

Be sure to join AASL for these cutting-edge speakers!
