[CASL-L] Thin paperbacks

This is my first year at the elementary level. My library has hundreds of the thin soft cover children's books. I am wondering how others handle these materials. Are they added to the catalog? How are they displayed? Currently they are in a large wire spin rack but this turns into quite a mess by the end of the day. Looking for other options to organize. Thank you.
