| Cut Paper Creations: Making Collages with Children

June 2, 2016
1:00pm - 4:00pm
$40 (Members $34)

(3 PDPs) Experiment with stamping, texture rubbings, and other ways to make unique collage papers with young children. Learn about how the Art Studio uses collage to connect young children with picture books, literacy, the creative thinking process, and their own curiosities. As we create collages of our own, we'll dip into design and color theory to better help us understand how picture book artists think and work. Leave with art you've made yourself, texture making tools, and ideas you can use in the classroom or at home.
