[CASL-L] Mystery and Suspense Fiction Featuring Hispanic Women

Hello,

One of the students at Capital Community College is looking for fiction books that feature Hispanic women.  She is not looking for books that are classified as urban fiction.  She is looking specifically for Hispanic women characters who would be considered the heroine of the book.  She is looking for books that are classified as mystery and suspense. Books  similar to the characters in Patricia Cornwell, Perri O'Shaughnessy, and Tess Gerritsen's books. Do you know of any specific authors?  Do you have books like this in your library?  Thank you.
