Hi Marybeth,

A Community Read over each summer has been a tradition at Canton Middle
School for awhile. With one exception there has been a single title for
both grades 7 and 8. We invite faculty and staff to form a small committee
early in the calendar year, suggest titles, and narrow selections down to a
few. We are in final evaluation now for the 2016 title, but here is a
retrospective list of titles we have used in the past. Our advisory groups
and teams develop activities that continue throughout the year. Our PTO
purchases approximately 20 copies for Canton Public Library, and we share
the information as well as our annual suggested reading list with Hartford
Public Library for our Hartford students. Hope this helps.

Pay It Forward (2015)
Wonder (Gr.7) and Counting By 7's (Gr.8) (2014)
Wonder (2013)
Bystander (2012)
All of the Above (2011)
Every Soul a Star (2010)
Home of the Brave (2009)
Pictures of Hollis Woods (2008)
Chicken Boy (2007)
Things Not Seen (2006)
Flipped (2005)
The Misfits (2004)
