Mary E. Griswold Elementary School in Berlin is one of only 36 schools - and the only school in Connecticut - to have made it to the voting round in the 5th annual Follett Challenge. Librarian Danielle Salina and the entire administration and staff challenged students in grades 3-5 to build upon their 21st century learner skills with a 6-week eBrary quest while immersed in medieval period roles and costuming. Please take a moment to view their fantastic video, and if you are so inclined, vote for it each day this week!

The Follett Challenge awards a combined $200,000 in products and services from Follett. Three semi-finalists - one each for elementary, middle, and high school levels - will each earn $30,000 prizes, and a grand prize winner will receive an additional $30,000. In addition, ten People’s Choice awards worth $8,000 each will be awarded based solely on the number of votes received.
