[CASL-L] [Shared Post] Robbing Peter to Pay Paul

I second this. I wonder are there any HS Librarians who do not have to
babysit study halls? We are asked to cover study halls every day when the
cafe is gettng cleaned.

We are also asked to cover classes when there are not enough substitute
teachers. This is probably our biggest problem. Often these classes come
to us with no assignment and the students resent having to use the time as
an extra study period rather than being allowed to sit and talk with
friends.

“Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up
windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute
to improving our quality of life. Libraries change lives for the better.”
