[CASL-L] NEASC Wants You!

Just to second what Matt said, I served on a NEASC visiting committee last month and it was an excellent experience. It's totally exhausting, but it's the best PD you'll have, spending four days with a committee of dedicated educators and immersing yourself into another school. The Library Media Center and its resources, staffing and role in the school are a key part of the report, so it's great to have a school librarian on the committee.

If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Melissa Spinosa, Team Coordinator, atmspinosa at neasc.org.         I’ve served on two visiting committees as LMS.  They are great for understanding NEASC and for getting a building wide perspective on your LMS program.  They are a lot of work, but you also learn a great deal.  If anyone has any questions, I’m happy to help.    Matt    Matt Cadorette Librarian Waterford High School 20 Rope Ferry Road Waterford, CT 06385 860-437-6956 mcadorette at waterfordschools.org Twitter: @lancerlibrary    “As for me, I am tormented with an everlasting itch for things remote.
