[CASL-L] NEASC Wants You!

Just to second what Matt said, I served on a NEASC visiting committee last month and it was an excellent experience. It's totally exhausting, but it's the best PD you'll have, spending four days with a committee of dedicated educators and immersing yourself into another school. The Library Media Center and its resources, staffing and role in the school are a key part of the report, so it's great to have a school librarian on the committee.

The dates of theses visits are:  March 5-8, March 26-29, and April 2-5. They are great for understanding NEASC and for getting a building wide perspective on your LMS program.  They are a lot of work, but you also learn a great deal.
