Hi Everyone,

I need to make some changes to my practices for grading papers and/or
collecting data for report card grades. If you work at the elementary
level and give grades for library, how do you handle the following:

How many assignments per trimester do you grade for each grade level?
Do you collect data in other ways besides class assignments, exit tickets
and observation?
Do you maintain a grade book, or use Google Classroom, or a combination of
paper and online tools?
Do you have more grades for older students (grades 3-5) than younger
students?
How do you choose what to grade?

I am respnsible for grading grades 1-5 students on a standards based
system (multiple standards per student) and have become overwhelmed by the
record keeping. Thanks in advance for any advice and/or ideas you may be
able to offer! Happy last few weeks of school!

Kate
