[CASL-L] check-out system for library laptops?

HI Traci,
We have a Chromebook cart in our library. We have barcoded the Chromebooks
and we check them out to the students every period. We have teachers who
have a duty in the library to help us. We also have a very dedicated
volunteer who comes most days from 9-1. Recently, we have had students with
special needs help us with the checkout. We found by having a record of
who checked the Chromebook out it cuts down on damage and it also helps us
get our library books back sooner. If a student has a long overdue book, we
will not allow them to use a Chromebook until they return it. They do have
access to a desktop computer.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Nancy
