[CASL-L] chromebooks vs. iPads and 1:1

Hello!

I am preparing a proposal to go one-to-one in the Primary School (Pre-K-2) that I work in. Up until yesterday I had been 100% in support of iPads. After doing some research on the opposed end (required by the district) I am starting to feel like I'm not sure. If you are 1:1 and are a primary school, can you please send me your insights, experience, opinions, etc. on what you love/hate about chromebooks/iPads? Which do you think works better, which is more developmentally appropriate for K-2,? etc.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
