Changes to RBdigital Web/App Release Dates & Downtime










Thank you for being a valued RBdigital customer.

The September 6 release has been delayed to ensure proper communication of an expected increase in system downtime. The RBdigital update will now start around 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, September 13.

This update may take up to eight hours to complete. During this period, service disruptions are expected for all RBdigital products on both web and mobile.

RBdigital Web Updates
The RBdigital web release will deliver a number of new features, including suggestive search and recommended title lists.

  *   Suggestive search makes it easier for users to find their favorite titles. Results pop up while users type their search criteria.
  *   Recommended title lists show suggested titles based on users’ favorite genres.

RBdigital Mobile App Updates
In the coming weeks, an update to the RBdigital mobile app will correct issues identified by patrons and librarians. This update will also include the following features:

  *   Suggestive search makes it easier for users to find their favorite titles. Results pop up while users type their search criteria.
  *   Recommended title lists show suggested titles based on users’ favorite genres.
  *   Checkout and Download buttons for magazines have been redesigned to make downloading even easier.
  *   The Audiobook Player redesign, which includes adjustable playback speed, increases usability for patrons.

More information about these updates will be provided as we get closer to the release.
