Congratulations on your new position Peter!!

A couple pieces of advice I have off the top of my head include:
**Join CASL if you are not already a member!
**Stay active on the Listserv and share questions as they come up for you:)
**Don't jump right in trying to implement new ideas and programs at your
school--be an active observer and get a feel for the culture and flow of
the students, staff, and building. Focus on building relationships with
the people in your building!!!

And most importantly, trust that you will be amazing and your school is
very lucky to have you.

Stay in touch:)
Melissa
