Jackie,

I have not seen her in front of a large assembly but did see her with a
group of about 20 students at our school for a writing workshop. She was
engaging and very effective. Each student got a small box with an object
inside (each box was different). From what I recall, they to write a
creative piece about the box before they opened it and then again after
they opened it (each box held an old key in a different shape). She was
very effective, managed the students well, and was also nice to work with.
This was a few years ago, around the time of *All Rise for the Honorable
Perry T. Cook*.

Good luck!

Joan
