[CASL-L] ALA/AASL Elections - Have you voted?

About a month ago, I connected to to ask those of you who are ALA/AASL
members to be sure and VOTE in the upcoming elections. You should have
received you ballot by now and if you have not already done so, you have
until April 4 to participate. I just finished casting my ballot and I feel
hopeful for the future!

Once again, I ask for your consideration of the following *School Librarian
and School Library Educators who are running for ALA Council. *Since I
first connected I have found out that Melissa Jacobs has withdrawn, but
there are still *14 **dedicated colleagues who need our help in bringing a
strong school library presence to Council. *

Also another reminder that AASL Past-President, Helen Adams, who is the
current chair of the ALA Intellectual Freedom Committee, has asked for our
help in *electing members who support IF *and I have included their names,
too.

If you have any questions about the election, council, etc. here's a link
to a pdf of the 2018 Election Guide
http://www.ala.org/aboutala/sites/ala.org.aboutala/files/content/governance/alaelection/2018/elections-booklet-2018.pdf

Thanks for your consideration,

Barbara
