[CASL-L] Alternative to LibGuides?

Hi Kristen,
I like free, so I use both.
My Google website has a page of livebinders with resources for classroom research.  The links show up as the covers of the binders, so is visually appealing (until you open it up and then it is just the tabs of links).
This works for us.

My library uses LibGuides and I'm planning to transition to a less expensive hosting service. I am considering LiveBinders ($35/yr) and Google Sites.

I like Live Binders because of its similarity to LibGuides; I think it would be easy for students and faculty to navigate. However, every LiveBinder example I've seen looks dated, cluttered, and generally isn't aesthetically pleasing.

I like Google Sites because of its ease of use and attractive templates.

Any feedback on either service is appreciated.
