We are a 1:1 high school with about 900 students as well - this is year 3.
I have created a MakerSpace with several new Mac computers and other Maker
things (3D printers, green screen, basic wood tools, paint, etc) - we also
have computer labs throughout the school with new Mac computers for a
variety of classes - 3D animation and audio/video.

My LMC does not have any computers in it besides what's in the MakerSpace.
We use a cloud printing system for students to print from printing. We are
in the process of creating more of a Learning Commons - as we have minimal
"Media" stuff.
