[CASL-L] Looking to Share an Author Visit by Charles Waters in March 2020

Happy Friday all!

I'm hosting poet Charles Waters on March 27, 2020 at my school in West
Hartford. I was wondering if anyone else would like to join me in hosting
him this week. He is coming from NYC and will take the train and rent a car
if needed so travel expenses won't be high as it would be if he needed to
fly. I told him I would pick him up for my author visit or provide a ride
service and he was fine with that.

His fee is $500 per assembly, but said he would be open to providing a
discount if more schools book him that week. I am hosting him for grades
3-5 and I like that there is less prep involved since we can more quickly
read his work as a poet. He does both middle and elementary visits.
