[CASL-L] Genrefying fiction: elementary

Dear Elementary Librarians,
If you have genrefied your fiction collection, what categories did you
use?  I am mulling it over, and I already put classification stickers on
books for these:
Mystery, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Humor, Multicultural, Adventure,
Dogs, Horses, Scary.  But an awful lot of books don't fall into those.  Do
you use Friendship? Realistic Fiction (which seems like a catch-all),
Animals, other?  Thank you,
