A couple more ideas:

From Edutopia, an article titled “What Your Students Really Need to Know About Digital Citizenship”
https://www.edutopia.org/blog/digital-citizenship-need-to-know-vicki-davis

Digizen (http://www.digizen.org/): “The Digizen website provides information for educators, parents, carers, and young people. It is used to strengthen their awareness and understanding of what digital citizenship is and encourages users of technology to be and become responsible DIGItal citiZENS. It shares specific advice and resources on issues such as social networking and cyberbullying and how these relate to and affect their own and other people's online experiences and behaviours.”

John Green put out a Crash Course series about navigating digital information. Episodes are under 15 minutes long, so you could have them watch it and do a quick activity/ discussion in under 25 minutes. Here’s a link to the preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4aNmdL3Hr0

Thanks, Common Sense Media is the first place I checked. It has some great material, but each lesson is 45 minutes long and there are 4 units worth of lessons. Which topics would you suggest narrowing it down to?

Good morning,

My assistant principal asked me to put something together on Digital Citizenship for an Advisory period at the high school (about 20-25 minutes.) Any advice on resources or what parts are important to go over? It seems like a huge topic to cover in that time period.

Thanks for your help! Happy Monday!
