These are great examples. From the State perspective, if folks need an argument for supporting digital literacy skills, remember the resources we have at www.CT.gov/ISTE<http://www.CT.gov/ISTE>, backed up by the Commission’s adopting the ISTE Student, Educator, and Education Leader standards and the State Board adopting the Student Standards.

Subject: [CASL-L] Digital Citizenship

Good morning,

My assistant principal asked me to put something together on Digital Citizenship for an Advisory period at the high school (about 20-25 minutes.) Any advice on resources or what parts are important to go over? It seems like a huge topic to cover in that time period.

Thanks for your help! Happy Monday!
Tenley

“The best way to measure how much you've grown isn't by inches or the number of laps you can now run around the track, or even your grade point average-- though those things are important, to be sure. It's what you've done with your time, how you've chosen to spend your days, and whom you've touched this year. That, to me, is the greatest measure of success.” - R.J. Palacio, Wonder
