[CASL-L] CASL-L Digest, Vol 6, Issue 193

I've been doing a lot of work both using and helping others to use
Screencastify, and I just wanted to add that you can use screencastify to
record your Slides playing in your own Browser tab and record your voice
over what's happening over that tab.

In the extension, you would:
Choose the browser tab option
Deselect embed webcam (unless you want to be visible on the screen).
Under "show more options"- Turn on drawing tools if you want them, or off
if you don't
Click "record" to start recording everything that happens on that one tab
until you stop the recording.

Of note:
If your slideshow will direct you to something that will open in another
tab, the other tab will not be visible in your recording because you will
only be recording the browser tab that is open when you click the record
button.

If you need a minute once the recording starts to get the slideshow going
or whatever, don't worry- it's very easy to clip off the beginning of a
recording once you've made it.
