I’ve done a workshop on using notes about tooth decay to create an argument and evaluate sources.

It’s in my workshop for teaching and evaluating infographics - check the section called “From poster thinking to infographic thinking” in this google doc for the latest notecards for paper notecards to print and bib/notes as a NoodleTools Template Project (for those with a sub.). Students organize *some* of the notecards to create an argument and then evaluate the sources they’ve used.

Subject: [CASL-L] Nonfiction note taking lesson for grade 5

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share any lessons they have that would be appropriate for grade 5 for nonfiction note taking and any graphic organizers that you or teachers might use to help organize their notes in order to use them for a larger project. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Respectfully,
