[CASL-L] Middle School Libraries - Reopening

Hi,
I'm in the same situation at a middle school with 1,000 students, one LMS
and no clerk. I did read a post that appealed to me (can't remember where)
but the LMS is ordering 5 flat topped rolling book carts (one for each day
of the week) that can house a laptop with scanner, books to distribute on
one side and books to collect back on the other side. Another idea would be
to have the books that students placed on hold on one side of the cart and
the book-talk books on the other side. I"m thinking I could visit a couple
of reading classes per period this way.
I also read somewhere that a good idea would be to have the first lesson to
teach students to put books on hold via the circulation system if they
don't already know how to do it
 I also want to know the most efficient way to take book requests since it
may be easy enough to have 1000 students request books in Destiny but how
to sort them and get them to the right places in a timely manner. I see
this as the biggest challenge.
