[CASL-L] When Do We Need a SWANK LICENSE?

Hello Librarians!
My district currently has a Swank license that expires in August and they
are considering dropping it.
Is this used only for entertainment?
Is it necessary to have the license if a teacher is showing a FULL length
movie as part of a lesson/curriculum?
Is it necessary to have the license if a teacher is only showing a clip
from a movie?
