[CASL-L] Author visits

We really enjoyed Padma Venkatraman <https://padmavenkatraman.com/>.  She
came to our school the month before we had to go virtual.  The cost at the
time was $2500.00 plus travel expenses (train from RI), which isn't too far
from your budget.
