Both Canva<https://ctedtech.app.learnplatform.com/new/organizations/157848/organization_tools/64010/details/overview> and Adobe<https://ctedtech.app.learnplatform.com/new/organizations/157848/organization_tools/20248/details/overview> have signed Connecticut’s Student Data Privacy Pledge (Canva last month, Adobe in 2019). As our recent guidance (FAQ<https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/DAS/CTEdTech/publications/2022/2-22-22_DAS_SDP_FAQ.pdf> and video overview<https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/DAS/CTEdTech/presentations/2-22-22_CT_SDP_Guidance.mp4>) indicates, signing the Pledge<https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/DAS/CTEdTech/documents/PA_16-189_CT_Student_Data_Privacy_Pledge.pdf> via LearnPlatform meets the statutory requirements for contracting (section 234bb<https://www.cga.ct.gov/current/pub/chap_170.htm#sec_10-234bb>). As our guidance indicates, your district may seek assurances beyond what the state law requires, and you are open to pursue those (custom) terms on your own.

Hi folks! Curious if anyone has had luck getting the pledge signed for Canva or Adobe Spark (now rebranded as Adobe Creative Cloud Express).
We have VERY few tools (Storyboard That, Padlet, and We Video)  that students can to create content use other than Google, and it might be because IT is so busy.

If your district has any tools on your approved list, I'd love to hear.
