Hi Matt,

Here are some other school librarian evaluation rubrics to look at.

*School Librarian Evaluation Rubrics*

*Indiana School Librarian Evaluation Rubric*

*Tenafly Public Schools (New Jersey)*

Select the Danielson Library Media Specialist Rubric Bank.

*Wisconsin Library Media Specialist Evaluation System User Guide*

*School Librarian Evaluation Instrument (SLEI)*

10 Standards—School Librarian Evaluation Instrument (Infographic)

The 10 standards clearly and succinctly define the roles of the school
librarian. The website includes The School Librarian Evaluation Instrument
<https://www.glma-inc.org/slei> based on the 10 standards. Here is a brief
description from the website:

“School library media leaders from across Georgia developed a powerful
document for school library media evaluation and advocacy: the School
Librarian Evaluation Instrument (SLEI)
<https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/9be0f3_d05095523b154a7b87cf4a516a2498a8.pdf>
.

The SLEI aligns with the AASL Standards for 21st Century Learners, ALA/AASL
2010 Standards for Initial Preparation of School Librarians, and the ISTE
Standards for Coaches. The Future Ready Library goals of connecting
real-world learning to the school environment are also integrated in the
performance standards. The SLEI is an evaluation instrument that will allow
the state to ensure consistency and comparability across districts, based
on a common definition of highly qualified school library media specialists
who support and enrich school environments.”

Hope this is helpful.

Best,
Jeri Van Leer
