[CASL-L] [EXTERNAL] Re: Kindergarten Library Orientation

We play Yes, Mrs. Rodko, No, Mrs. Rodko.
I pretend to be borrowing a book from the library. If I am being safe,
kind, and responsible (our school motto) and taking care of the book the
students say Yes, Mrs. Rodko.
If I'm not making good choices, they say No, Mrs. Rodko and raise their
hands to help me make a better choice.
They love it and the Yes, Mrs. Rodko carries over the next few weeks as an
unintended result!!!!
This helps me cover how to care for books, check out and return books and
be safe in the library.
